Another productive meeting of Palm Desert Rotary on Tuesday!

Our own Massey Pitts shared the fascinating history of the Palm Springs Surf Club - from its beginnings as Oasis Water Park in 1986, to its major remodeled reopening in 2024 as today’s surf, water park, dining and event destination.

In recognition of Polio Awareness Month, PDG Marilyn Sanderson’s “Take a Bite Out of Polio cookie sale raised nearly $300, with an additional generous contribution by Jim Brock!

President Maryalice presented new Paul Harris pins to Jennifer Loretta and Walter Gendell. Thanks for your continued support of The Rotary Foundation.

And don’t forget - our Annual Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, October 25th. Chair and President-Elect Mark Stanley reminded us that we still need sponsors. No donation is too small - every contribution from our club members will help to make our Pancake Breakfast a success!

Next meeting: Tuesday, October 20, 2026 Palm Valley Country Club!
