We have continued our collaboration with the Rotary clubs in Mexicali, Mexico, and it is flourishing. This year, we once again painted walls and collected donations of kitchen items, playground equipment, blankets, and toys for the CAM Eduardo Huet school for the deaf. Our visit to the Desayunador UREDAE charity for street kids was heartwarming. We hosted a piñata party and donated blankets, toys, clothing, and food. This effort, now in its 7th year, saw the participation of 15 District 5330 clubs, with a total of 70 to 100 district Rotarians engaging in hands-on International Service. The camaraderie and cross-border fellowship were truly inspiring, as we worked together to make a difference in the lives of those in need. The smiles on the children’s faces and the gratitude from the community were the best rewards for our hard work and dedication.
